In 2014, Flip Creative produced a recreation of True West for the Palm Canyon Theatre. Starring Sean Kanan, David Steen, and Tristan Rogers, the play displayed the typical ambition with which a small company attacks a big project. 

True West is a play by American playwright Sam Shepard. It follows the sibling rivalry between estranged brothers Austin and Lee, who have reconnected. The play is set in California, about 20 miles outside of Los Angeles in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley, at their mother's home.
